Working in watercolors for me is the ultimate of mediums. Watching the colors flow between each other is magical. Mostly I work with no specific image in mind and most times something in the work triggers a memory of a landscape or image familiar to myself. Pouring paints allows most of the times for the colors to not turn to mud, although occasionally I get crazy with too many colors and then I’m in trouble. The paintings become special to me as you put so much of yourself into them. Hopefully when other people view them it reminds them of a special place or time in their lives.
